Drumderg Joinery

I have recently been working on a new website for a company in Toome called Drumderg Joinery.  It is a Family Run Business who have never had a website before, and solely existed by word of mouth.  The owner wants to see if a website will bring more custom, so has asked me to design one.

I have been working with this over the past month or so, making design changes and adding content.  The website can be viewed here www.drumdergjoinery.com

It is vey near completion, only thing left to do is complete all the content, upload the images and fix the Contact form which for some strange reason doesn't want to include the Email Message when sent Frown

Corpus Christi College

Been a while since I have posted, am now currently working in Corpus Christi College, in Belfast as an ICT Tecnician.  It is a very enoyable job, real good craic.  Have been working on their website during my time there, it is @ http://www.corpus-christi-college.co.uk (nice wee plug lol).  The website is using a nice modified Joomla template from Edugeek, an online resource website for Educational Technicians.

The site is currently in construction and should be completely finished by the end of the summer months.

Finished Antrim Youth Council Website

The website for AYC has been finished and I am now awaiting the members of the Council to register so I can set their access rights for producing content on the website.  I used Joomla as the CMS and as always it gives a nice user interface and plenty of plugins to chose from for the website.

I am also in the process of adapting a user manual for the site so as they can keep the website up to date themselves without my help, hopefully it should be enough to get them started into getting content onto the website.  I will of course provide support for the website and probably submit content myself, as I am a member of the Youth Council myself Laughing

Antrim Youth Council

Started work on the AYC Website a few weeks ago, after the meeting I am now at the point of getting it uploaded.  I bought the domain www.antrimyouthcouncil.com and have put on a holding page for this.  I hope to have the website up before the end of the week, with all the features installed and working.

I also setup the email accounts, however I am thinking of using Google Apps for the domain to give each user a nice email system to use for their accounts, more on this should follow.

Welcome to my Blog!

Hello there and welcome to my new and improved blog. After changing servers for aidzan-designs.com I have decided to revamp my blog and use my own code instead of CuteNews.  I am using the brillaint TinyMCE for this which is a fantastic tool.

So this is my first post of what I hope is many Laughing
